In the new build sector,
it is generally accepted that the electrical contractor will provide electrical
supplies and containment for the security contractor.
The co-ordination requirement
and program impact are so resource and time intensive that clients of Beacon
Security asked the firm to include the containment within its package.
Utilising
its in-house design personnel, Beacon Security can co-ordinate this function
with all the other service contractors.
In one recent example, Beacon Security
installed all containment for its equipment throughout 38 floors of a major
London landmark building. The project was completed one week ahead of program
and led to the award of a second project to Beacon Security.
