TAS Suzuki are pleased to announce the signing of road racer Ryan Farquhar
who put ‘pen to paper’ late on 29th September 2005 after many weeks
of discussion.

At 27 years of age, Farquhar comes with a tremendous road racing
pedigree having won over 60 races in the past two seasons – most notably his
international successes at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand
Prix on Supersport machinery – handing him road racing’s most
coveted trophies in 2004 & 2005; the Duke Rankings and Irish Racer
Motorcyclist of the Year titles
Ryan Farquhar
“TAS Suzuki are the biggest team in international road racing and their
record speaks for itself. I am looking forward to working with Philip Neill and
my new team at TAS Suzuki and in 2006 I will be looking for my first international
Superbike victory on–board Suzuki machinery.”
Philip Neil
“Ryan is a quality rider and I’m glad I have him with me rather than
against me in 2006! He has a record that is matchless in Irish road racing and
his international victories over the past few years prove he can compete at the
top level. I’m sure he will feel very much at home with TAS Suzuki and
our plan is to continue where we left off this season with more international
success.”
